Mantis Board provides an innovative waterjet cutting surface. In the process of waterjet cutting, Mantis Board provides a smooth, flat, and uniform cutting operation surface, reducing the probability of cutting parts falling into the water tank, and to some extent reducing the water splashing that affects the work. Mantis Board is made of durable co-polymer (polypropylene and polyethylene) materials with a honeycomb core structure.
Mantis Board makes it easy to repair the areas that are frequently cut. It uses hot bonding instead of screws for fixing, so repairing Mantis Board only requires a simple hot glue gun. When the damage occurs, cut off the damaged area of the board, use the hot glue gun to glue a new board of the same size to the Mantis board, then it can be used again. Mantis Board can be directly placed on the water tank, avoiding the trouble of assembly and disassembly. You can very create a 6'x12' cutting surface with the Mantis Board just in a few minutes.
Mantis Board can be used for abrasive cutting and water-only cutting, such as cutting metals, stones, plastics, and composite materials. Mantis Board can save time, and money, bringing more advantages to your waterjet cutting process.
Mantis Board is available in 54.5" x 30" / 1200mm x 800mm perimeter and thickness is 2"/3"/3.85"/46mm, other perimeter and thickness are available by special order.
1# 54.5"L x 30"W x 3.85"H(1384.3mmL x 762mmW x 97.8mmH)
2# 54.5"L x 30"W x 3"H(1384.3mmL x 762mmW x 76.2mmH)
3# 54.5"L x 30"W x 2"H(1384.3mmL x 762mmW x 50.8mmH)
4# 1200mmL x 800mmW x 46mmH
Lightweight - Mantis Board uses a low-density honeycomb core structure which makes it easier to transport and saves on shipping costs. Recyclable - Both polypropylene and polyethylene materials are 100% green and recyclable.
Quiet Operation - Reduce cutting noise to create a quieter and more efficient workspace.
Clean Cut - The internal honeycomb design allows for faster water flow out of the cutting area, reducing water splashing.
Durability - Made of tough polypropylene and polyethylene co-polymer material, allowing for more cutting operations to save more resources.
1. Set the Mantis Board on a part or all of the cutting table.
2. Fix the position of the Mantis Board so that it will not move.
3. Screws or fasteners can be used to fix the cut material in the appropriate position on the Mantis Board.
4. Mantis Board can be flipped for use when it is worn out.
